Amenities
Our Breakfast
Of all the kind things people say, the most often heard comments praise our full home cooked breakfasts. We typically serve at 9:00 am, but will accommodate your special needs if possible. We will ask you about your dietary requirements when we see you, and we will ask about whether or not you drink coffee, and how you like it.
At a typical breakfast we serve juice, freshly ground coffee, tea, an egg dish, breakfast meat, toast, homemade jam, fresh fruit, and dessert.
Our Library
Please inquire if you would like to “borrow” a book during your stay. We have lots of paperbacks, read and enjoyed which we may pass along.
We have both been published in a New England crime story anthology produced by Level Best Books. Our claim to fame. There should be a copy of Blood Moon and Red Dawn in your room. If you don’t see them and are curious, please ask. Our stories are short.
Our Town
Our town of approximately 11,000 people is the northern most in Chittenden County. We are about midway between Burlington to the south and St. Albans to the north. Montreal is about 90 minutes to the north, if you fancy a visit, bring your passport. Guests who stay with us enjoy day trips to well known Vermont destinations in all directions including Shelburne, Burlington, The Champlain Islands, and Stowe, to name a few. Milton has a few casual dining options, watering holes, and lovely hikes, a great library, and is home to Milton Artists’ Guild.
Bring a Friend
We are sometimes able to accommodate pets, on a case by case basis, for a small additional fee, especially if you are choosing the Iris Suite or the FROG for your stay. Please inquire when you book for more information.
